Warranty
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
All orders leave our warehouse in brand new undamaged condition. If your item arrives damaged or missing items, we will gladly replace the damaged or missing parts to you. Should we require the goods returned, we will offer a return solution. Should you be due a refund, we will action this. NOTE that ‘self-repairs’ prior to a warranty claim void this warranty, as will failure to follow assembly instructions.
Manufacturer Warranty
Globber products are covered under Australian warranty for hardware failure, up to 24 months from date of purchase. Globber E-scooter batteries are covered by a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase, and the Globber Trike Raincover for 6 months from date of purchase. Italtrike products are covered under Australian warranty for hardware failure, up to 24 months from date of purchase. All other brands provide warranty against manufacturer defects, up to 12 months from the date of purchase.
Manufacturer warranty covers direct manufacturing faults or failures in our products. With all extreme/ high risk sports, skateboard and scooter equipment suffers damage as a direct result of participation in the sport; and this damage to equipment is not covered under warranty.
Damage due to misuse, abuse, prolonged sun exposure, modification, and regular wear and tear is excluded. Warranty does not cover wheels or bearings, chips, scratches, chunking, flat spots, bending, snapping, cracking or other damage of parts that is a result of normal use. Lightweight EVA foam wheels on Trikes are not all terrain wheels, and will not be covered for improper use. NOTE that ‘self-repairs’ prior to a warranty claim void this warranty, as will incorrect assembly, or failure to follow assembly instructions.
You must stop using the product in question immediately if you raise a manufacturer warranty claim. You must be able to provide proof of purchase, indicating product purchase is inside the manufacturer warranty period (credit card receipt is fine) and provide at least two photos of your item, one of the damaged part and one of the complete product.
You must email orders@wheelsandmotion.com.au, with the above detail, plus your full name, address and mobile number, to make a warranty claim. We will then assess your claim, and advise you of the outcome. Should we require the goods returned, we will offer a return solution at no cost to the claimant. If we deem spare parts will fix the issue, we will send the parts at no cost to the claimant.
