Wheels are anti-puncture; the front wheel has a "freewheel" system to allow children to rest their feet on the pedals when pushed.  As soon as kids are confident| the wheel can be changed to locked and becomes a classic trike wheel system| allowing children to pedal forwards| backwards and brake.
